SoftForward Technologies is currently looking for a talented, hard working & highly motivated .Net Developer located in Calgary, Alberta.

This role will involve taking an active role in the development of new functionalities that utilize up to the latest .Net framework. Extensive knowledge of Visual Studio, VB.NET, Dev Express, SQL Server 2008 and C# is preferred. However, as a hardcore developer you know that specific languages and development environments can be quickly learned. Your passion to learn and grow, your competence to do so, and your attitude are more important to us than your current knowledge.

Part of the job will involve maintaining and improving our current application portfolio and IT infrastructure. As such an ability to understand, debug, and improve legacy code is important. Working with a diverse team you will help conceptualize, architect, implement, and test internal and external application software.

We'd like you to have a solid practical background in computing in the commercial space. Agile and team working experience would be a bonus. Above all, we're looking for an ability to master whatever technologies and challenges we need you to and a genuine passion for building great software.

As a Software Sales Specialist, you'll be selling software product to Optical Stores across Canada and United States.
